Welcome to the modern age, AP!

(Is it still "Web site"?)

LOL! Even some of the departments at the paper where I work can't decide whether the email hyphen stays.

About stinkin' time. I've used email since the mid '80s, and I've never hyphenated it.

I say it is about time. When I first used the word back in the mid-90s, AP had not made a decision on it yet. My professor told me he didn't have a preference but he did want me to pick one and stick to it. I picked the version "email" and have not varied from it since.

Oh, yes, website. "Web site" always seems so fusty! And "e-book". Ebook!

Seems an obvious statement but must be said: 'email' is so much easier to type. =)
