I'm in Chicago these days. For those of you who don't know what happened to Chicago this week, let me share with you a picture of a path I had to make. The shrubs in the foreground are about hip-high.
I'm officially dug out and mobile again. Normal blogging will resume just as soon as my fingers thaw.

Wow that looks amazing. It almost doesn't look like real snow. More like icing. Hope the worst of it's over for you.
It looks like real snow IMHO. I'm Canadian, I know what snow looks like. But wow, that is an impressive amount.
It sure impressed me. Anytime it falls so thick and fast that you run out of places to put it -- now that's a good snowfall. They were out there with backhoes and dump trucks trying to widen the streets.
But the worst is definitely over. :)
