That made my head hurt. :)
I can't get past the first part of that sentence - "art is the lie." I love that it came from Picasso, because he pushed the boundaries so much that he sold us on that "lie." But he's right - there's truth in it.
I need an Advil. LOL
I often think that "reality" is the lie. :)

I had an MS that I wanted to use that as an epigraph for. Took me forever to source it, but the full version was:
El arte es una mentira que nos hace darnos cuenta de la verdad.
