Paragraph disection-- not us!

Here's a fun site (well, fun for the likes of us). An author solicits opening paragraphs and takes them apart. So check it out-- Ilona Andrews livejournal. As she says, if we all took this much time to diagnose each paragraph, we'd go crazy. However, she shows how useful it is to train yourself to read closely (and quickly) and find what works and doesn't work, especially in the important paragraphs. Good stuff!

Thanks Alicia! It was great fun to go through the process.

I'm just glad we're not the only ones who parse every word. :)
