Today isn't technically Alicia's birthday, but it is the day she chose to celebrate her birthday with her writing friends. They're all gathering for a nice lunch, and I bet there will be cake. (pout) because I can't be there!

You see? There's always a silver lining...but, if you’re anything like me, you’ll have a hard time spotting it, cause your freaking eyes are going. So um, I guess it’s a good thing there are plenty of candles on the cake - lit up like that - you aren’t likely to miss it! Hope you had a good one:).

I was actually born in December, right after Christmas, which is not a great time to be born. (No one has any appetite for another party after Christmas. :)
But we had a lovely cake, and I brought the rest home and it's calling to me right now.
