Multiple adjectives

Help! What's your suggestion here?

The research topic has to allow you to find academic, scholarly, and professional source.

Okay, what I mean is-- academic sources. Scholarly sources. Professional sources.

I don't mean every source has to be all of those, but rather each source has to be one of those.

How would you make it clear?

"The topic should allow you to locate appropriate sources of an academic, scholarly, or professional nature.

My suggestion:

The research topic has to allow you to find any or all of the following sources: academic, scholarly, or professional.

Do you have to say it all in one sentence? Otherwise, "The research topic has to allow you to find academic, scholarly, and professional sources. Use at least one of each."

"Or" is a good word. :) Thanks.
Natalie, yes, it would be useful to specify a number. Students do better with direct instruction like that. I'd add "or else." That tends to get their attention!
